We are pleased to inform you that NMIMS University in collaboration with SAS is conducting Business Analytics and Data Mining Championship 2018 – Asia’s Biggest hunt of Data Science Talent across Indian Universities. The final event will be held in NMIMS Mumbai campus between 4th- 6th Oct 2018.
Business Analytics & Data Mining Championship is an event for Students and Working Professional interested in field of Analytics & Data Sciences.
It is India’s largest Analytics Championship which is moving in a direction to become Asia’s Largest Analytics Championship. Currently, it is held in India, China & Taiwan. The championship will be conducted across Asia Pacific Region this year. Winners of each Country will be competing at Global Forum at SAS Head Quarters in Carry (US). This will help us hone the analytics talent among participants and bring the best out of them.
In 2017, 1200+ students participated in this event from various top institutes in engineering, management, science, statistics etc. This year we are expecting 5000+ data analytics aspirants to participate. This event provides an opportunity to the brightest of students who are passionate about Data Analytics to showcase their competitive skills among others from similar background.
Format of the Event:-
Ø Stage 1 : Online Assessment on 1st Sept 2018 onwards
Ø Stage 2 : Problem Solving
Ø Stage 3 : Presentation to Jury
Stage 2, Stage 3 and JOB FAIR will be held at NMIMS, Mumbai Campus.
Eligibility:
Ø Students pursuing Graduation or Post-Graduation in any stream
Ø Maximum 3 students in 1 team
*Note : There is no limitation for number of teams participating from one institute.
Prizes:
Cash Prizes worth INR 10,00,000/- , trophies & certificates for the finalists, verified SAS badges to all participants & many more….
