Following up: Mentoring

Sir,

How are you, I hope you are doing well and ready for the new semester!

I wanted to get back in touch with you over the mentoring initiative we started looking at last year.

I've personally worked with 6 students from the Chemical Engineering department on aspects of candidacy, professional outlook, and will continue working with them on networking and future job opportunities.
These students include :

Deboleena Dhara
Anusha Mehendale
Sanjula Kamamentu
Sophia Saldhana
Nidhi Kamat and
Namat Verma

I personally feel very accomplished having helped most of them realize how much more they can do and what possibilities lie ahead.

I would love to continue working with the department, on perhaps a slightly larger scale (ideally) but will work with anybody who really wants it right now

Unfortunately, The others I have been developing content with (Manoj, Richa and Aditya) are all in different phases in their lives and cannot dedicate as much time as they would like.

I have restructured and re-modeled the way I'd like to approach this and develop core content relevant to students looking to enhance their career through my blog, as well as help students on a personal level.

I've talked to several other alumni who, while not directly involved, will always be ready to help assist students should their profile match what the student wants.

All in all, I'm very optimistic that I can do more for the students this year than the year before and would love your blessings to continue working with the students.

I'd like to initiate conversations with the current 3rd year and 4th year students who are interested in careers and education abroad.

Looking forward to hearing back from you !

Best Wishes,
Bharat
