NPTEL courses for students

Below are the NPTEL courses (a project funded by MHRD, Govt of India and was undertaken by the 7 older IITs and IISc since 2003. The primary aim is to create and make available high quality video content in 23 disciplines across all branches of engineering for anyone who is motivated to learn.Since 2014, NPTEL has been offering open online courses for certification on the portal https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in) which are being offered through QEEE. Though the courses have started and their online registration is closed, exclusively for QEEE students, the registration is open on Feb 16th between 9am-12noon. QEEE is offering a 2hr live session for these courses with focus on revising a module or discussion on some problems/applications of concepts or to clear the doubts of students.

POINTS TO BE REMEMBERED FOR REGISTRATION TO NPTEL COURSES:

• Students enrolment to be done on the NPTEL portal so that timely reminders, access to the videos and submission of assessments are available to students directly. Students to have a Gmail id compulsorily for the registration on NPTEL portal.
• Please enrol the list of students (who have enrolled to NPTEL courses) on the QEEE portal too. This will help us in providing the QEEE certificate.
• The registration is opened on Feb 16th from (9 AM – 12 Noon) kindly register within this stipulated time

CERTIFICATES:

• If students wish to get NPTEL certificate, students to pay a fee (as mentioned on NPTEL portal) and take up the certification exam
• If students wish to get QEEE certificate, students to complete the weekly assignments given in the NPTEL Portal.
